    大埔墟鐵路站乘64K在寨乪下車，前行一小段路，見萬德苑指示牌向左方小徑進村。經過村屋，抵梧桐寨村公廁，在此遇見一行友稱已行完瀑布回程，表示非常濕滑，叫我們小心。我們往右方村屋中間小路上走。接梧桐寨路向左前行，續走萬德徑，過了牌坊後便抵萬德苑，今早經過時門仍關上，故未能入內參觀。 在萬德苑遇見一外傭，一個人獨自往梧桐寨瀑布，在此開始走進山徑向上走，前行不久見到指示牌，直行可往瀑布，由於我們目的地為海拔957米大帽山，故選擇向右方上走...
