  昇仙峽是甲府盆地北側荒川上流的一個溪谷，屬於秩父多摩甲斐國立公園的一部分，在日本國內極具人氣，於2009日本平成百景選舉中，得票僅次於富士山而排名第二，有日本第一溪谷之美譽，秋季紅葉鼎盛時期遊人極盛，覺円峰和仙娥瀑布是沿途眾多名勝景點的代表。來往甲府站的巴士於昇仙峽口（山下）、Green Line（中途）和瀧上（山上）都分別有站，在終點還可以乘搭纜車上山遙拜富士山。
