Itinerary description

Crossing of Wahiba Sands starting from 1000 Nights Camp, all the way to the sea. Three to four hours of sand driving. Easy if you keep on the track. Do not go alone, take plenty of water and an extra GPS.

    Definitely worth it. Not very technical. Stick to the trail. Take extra fuel and water. Rewarding finish if you drive North to South.

    Great route, especially going North to South - very satisfying seeing the sea behind the last set of large dunes!

    Although moderate, there are a few sections which require pace and confidence in your car to avoid getting stuck.

    As a tip, aim to camp in the last set of dunes, not the beach as it isn’t the cleanest due to rubbish from the fishing villages.
