Itinerary description
Near the Magotho Campsite there is a litte sand track close to the river where it is possible to see big game like Elephants, Hippo and lots of anthelopes, impala, and maybe hyena, lion or leopard.
This Campsite is run by the Community Trust of Khwai, is very wild, but there are no facilities. You must have a self contained vehicle. No water, light or toilets. Wood available from the guards.
4WD needed, the track runs over deep snad sometimes, and you may try to do some river crossing although we didn't. This was made in July.
