Itinerary description

Starting along route 8 cycle path from Builth, then a long and steep ascent up Rhiw Rhwstyn (a challenge unless you have a decent e-bike) to the trig point on Aberedw hill. Lots of options for rolling grassy trails on the hill, with some steep descents into valleys here and there. This route comes down through the Fforest fields campsite - a great place to stay - then back along the A481, which generally isn't too busy. Could be extended by going down into the Edw valley, up onto Rhulen and Llandeilo hills, and down through Aberedw rocks. If doing this in winter, be well prepared for cold, windy and wet conditions.
