Itinerary description

There is no path for the first 20 mins after you leave the road, and there are also some challenging parts as you come back up the hills towards the end, so some climbing is needed. The rest is beautiful, with a clear trail and some amazing views.

Expect to meet some goat herders and dogs along the way!

A fantastic hike! We went in January and everything was green and a little water was flowing in the wadis. 95% of the trail is off road and about 25% is quite difficult, but very much doable for most people. The view of the Golan Heights is fantastic.

I did this hike last year in March, and it was one of the most breathtaking and amazing hikes I've done in Jordan! Picturesque scenery, flowing streams, peaceful surroundings, and blossoming flowers—it was incredibly quiet. We only encountered one person during the entire hike!

However, it was quite challenging—especially at the beginning and during the final ascent, which were the toughest parts. The lack of clear paths going up or down made the hike even more difficult and time-consuming.

Unique scenery and challenging hike. Proper hiking shoes and trekking poles highly recommended due to challenging terrain especially in the initial descent and at the final incline. The middle 50% is quite easy to follow with a clear path used by local shepherds, otherwise you will be figuring out your own path in steep canyons with loose rocks and tree branches
