Itinerary description
Waypoints

Parking
No official parking lot, but there are a few spot along this paved country road where you can leave your vehicle.

Intersection #1
You can go uphill on this intersection to cut the trail short (while following it in reverse). You will connect directly to Intersection #8. Continue downhill to follow our direction.

Intersection #5
If you're feeling adventurous, from this spot you can continue to ascend Učka and arrive at Poklon, where there's a mountain hut, a restaurant, etc. From Poklon it's also possible to arrive at the summit of Učka (Vojak peak). However, that would be a harder and much longer hike.

WWII Memorial
Memorial to a fallen freedom fighter from WWII, who was killed on this spot in 1942 by the Italian aggressors.

The path is not available anymore and is not maintained... It looks like a public landfill...
Sorry for your bad experience on this trail.
The usual parking lot adjacent to Učka tunnel which marks the official start of the trail is now under heavy construction and unavailable to the public (until mid-2024). So, the alternate START is the parking on the side of the road to Dobreć village. The only unmaintained part of the trail as recorded by us is the last 100-150m from the START to Intersection #1, which connects to the actual official trail again. This is unmaintained because this last stretch isn't an actual trail, and you have to go through the woods for those last 100m or so. The forest isn't so dense, and should be passable (at least it was in 05/2022).
That said, the waterfall can also be reached by numerous other ways, and this currently problematic section can be avoided completely. For example, you could've went from the START (where we parked our car) and continued in reverse: Start > Intersection 10 > Intr. 9 > etc. And then when you finally arrive to Intersection #1 on the reversed path, just continue following the carriage road and it would've led you back to Intersection #8, which would lead you again to your START.
