Itinerary description
Moelwyn Mawr and Moel yr Hydd. Getting down from Moel yr Hydd down the ridge was tricky - probably it would have been better to return to the col and then go down the path. Use this part of the route with caution, as some of it was a bit dicey.
Note also that you are not strictly meant to walk over the dam on the way up, although there is unlikely to be anyone to stop you. If you prefer to avoid it, leave the road a little before the reservoir, where there are paths going up to the left.
