Itinerary description

If at all you followed my trail, referred my detailed text and if it helped you in achieving your goal or not,
Kindly leave a comment / review after your hike.

It will be helpful for fellow hikers.

We few friends today climbed my Dream Trail #1 ( Out of 6 Trails that reach Jebel Jais True Summit of 1932 Mtrs elevation )

We started the hike from Wadi Litibah by Stairway to heaven Left Bank and reached the Top Omani village in 3 hours.

This particular section is a bit tricky section, especially on the vertical wall section. You achieve quick elevation on a steep ascent, loose rocks, vertical manmade stone steps, few exposed places and real adrenaline flowing.

This trail is not suitable for persons with fear of height.

This Ascent section is also bit confusing here and there to find the path, so keep looking for the trail and the obvious stone steps.

Eventually you will reach the cliff village named Quwwah on the top plateau which is technically an Omani territory. You can see UAE Omani border marker poles too.

Apparently it is forbidden to hike up from this trail and if caught can land the hiker in legal troubles as this is literally Oman UAE border.

Take your own Precautions before attempting any new route.
Exploration hikes can be tricky and dangerous.
Do your homework on the trail well and be prepared.

Once you reach the village, we further continued to STH LB Summit of 1700 meters Elevation in 1.5 Hours. Basically this is a UAE Oman border marker post at 1770 meters elevation and the highest point on STH Left Bank trail. Usually hikers turn Right from here towards Ras al Ghash village which is also the Summit point of STH RB trail.

From here we continued via Omani Graded washed out roads and mountain to the Jais True summit of 1932 Meters elevation in 1 hour.

We we reached the Summit in about 6 hours including breaks.
From the Jais summit, we walked towards the Sheikh Palace, Zipline, Ghaf Summit and finally to the Ghalilah Dam Descent.

Totally it took us about 12 hours time. About 7 hours Moving time.
About 24 kms distance with 43,000 Steps.

Do Not Try Any Mountain Hikes If You Do Not Understand The Mountain Terrains, Dangers From Wildlife, First Aid, Hydration And Snacks, Your Own Fitness, Remote Activity Preparations, Communication Tools, Mountain Geography, Topography, Risk Factors, HSE Requirements, Hiking Risks, Fitness Level Of The Group Members.
Study All Above Matters Well Before Following Any Trails That You Find Online. Please Do Not Over Estimate Yourself.
Better Be Safe Than Put Yourself / Group In Danger And Regret Later.
Lately We Have Seen A Lot Of Unwanted Hiking Incidents That Could Have Been Avoided With Better Preparation.
Wish You All The Best.
