Itinerary description
We headed to Shawka Pools today for a hike and a dip but discovered that the water levels of the pool have dropped around 60%, leaving a pool of murky green water. No way to get past the first pool without wading and we didn't want to get our bags wet.
So we turned back, and discovered a small but fun detour on the way back. This section we found climbs up against a small series of dried out pools (It would be amazing, but much trickier if the pools were filled) with lots of climbing with our 2 kids. We could have gone much further in, but were not sure how far the dried stream went.
More exploration needed next time!
