Itinerary description
Beautiful and scenic short trail around the rocky valleys of the Shawka Dam. We started our hike at the bottom of the staircase and quickly went off the stairs to follow the trail on the right side right into the beautiful rocky valley.
Came across a couple of blue-headed Lizards (Agama). There was a small shaded little hut perfect to replenish for a quick break. Then went to the left size of the trail up to the upper shoulder of the mountain, and then all the way up to the mountain head. Beautiful panoramic view from up there. We hiked back down through the staircase and to our cars.
Recommended for families with young children (+toddlers)
