Itinerary description
Like other tracks near the Rkoni, the best time to walk is probably late summer, autumn because of the Tedzami river and its tributaries. In spring, fords are passable but require preparation and confidence.
We started the track from Chachubeti, but a good solution would be to start directly from Rkoni - this is minus one ford. If you go down the track in the spring, you will have to cross the river on the way back. There may not be any other options. We wanted to avoid crossing until the last moment, looking for workarounds, but to the east, the river spread even wider, and to the west, the path was blocked by rocks and thickets.
There are also two farms on the way. We passed one without any problems, there was no one there. On the other, in the Lilu area, there were many guard dogs that had to be bypassed. Be careful!
The track can be changed by starting in Rkoni and ending in Khovle, where it is possible to leave by marshrutka.
