Itinerary description
Wonderful trail that starts in the Montha Than Visitors centre, accesible by car or taxi. The path starts going from the visitor centre and goes up to see 3 different and beautiful waterfalls. Then after crossing a small river, you go up to the Doi Suthep temple. The way is beautiful and not very technical.
Then, we visited the temple and have a bit of a rest by eating a nice PadThai.
After, you take the trail down which I believe is the Monks Trail. Quite beautiful and you will only have to step on the road for few meters. In the way down, close to the water, there are two small temples which are worth to see.
The way down from the Doi Suthep until the end of the route is quite easy and not demanding.
Then, we visited the temple and have a bit of a rest by eating a nice PadThai.

Hello Martín, I want to do this trail Next Thursday. From your description I understand that it is easy to follow. What I don't know is what the shadows are like. Is there a lot of sun or is there shade along the trail? I ask It because now in this area, the sun is strong and the temperatures are high. Thank you

Hi! The trail is mostly by the shed, so dont worry about the sun. I recommend you to bring the mosquito repelent.
Regarding the river, its quite small and can be easily crossed. Even though we were on rainy season.

We did the trial. It was easy to follow. You have to pay the fee for the park which It was 100 baths. We enjoy the day. The first 3.5 kilometers are strong. Good trial. Thank you Martin.
