Itinerary description
Following the Lebanon Mountain Trail signs: climbing up from Afqa until the scenary opens up on a view of the valley. Incredible to witness the trail change year after year: as we got closer to Faraya, the trail basically turned into a huge construction site with villas and cabins popping up like mushrooms... too bad, we hiked the last part of this section through the loud music of Faraya's fancy bars and restaurants. Not the best way to wrap up a day in nature. Still, any day on LMT is a day well spent. Enjoy!
