Itinerary description
A 2 or 3 day backpacking trip. Best in March, when all the streams have water. 3.5 miles to LaBarge canyon. Scramble over boulders for 4 miles. Challenging especially in upper canyon. From there easy 15 mile trek on relatively easy trails to Black mesa for the view and them back to the trailhead.
