Itinerary description

The hike starts from the nuns' monastery in Kaftoun. Right before the monastery's entrance, you will find a small trail to your right, which leads to an old bridge that takes you across the river. From there make your way through the bushes. Despite some trash in the river, the fauna and flora are really nice, especially in Spring. Bit by bit the trail becomes wide and flat. You will pass through orange tree fields among other nice lands. After crossing the asphalt road, we took a small uphill, and then went back down to the riverside (Better use the bridge near the picnic site to go down but we did some extra discovery around the place) and continued our hike on the Mselha walkway. At any point you can decide to stop and turn. Once we reached back the crosspoint, we went to our cars on the asphalt road for a change of sceneries.

All in all: A small hike which might be extended North or South. Easy except the first part which might be a bit slippery and narrow.
