Itinerary description
My fav run with some hardtop surfaces along the roads, but it is the trails that make this such a pleasure. Starting at either end it is the only safe way to cross the rifle range and is approved by National Parks as the safe way to cross the safety area of the range.
If traveling north or south and do not want to cross the range, be it through safe to do so on the Benowie Track, then come up onto the road and walk around! It's that simple.
Any other trails that pass through the rifle range lands are verboten, so stay off them.
