Itinerary description
Helvellyn circular walk via Striding Edge from Glenridding. Beautifull views along the way. Gets quite challenging on Striding Edge. Going through Striding Edge just choose carefully your path. At the end we took left hand path. After Striding Edge you will be climbing Helvellyn. Again you can choose your path. You can go straight uphill - more challenging way. Or you can choose left hand path. Just look carefully and you will find kind of zig zag path up to the top of Helvellyn. I took this walk with the dog. He is very agile. But i had to carry him through few spots on Striding Edge and climbing Helvellyn. I wouldn't advise to go with dog this path. But it is not impossible.
