Itinerary description
You will see all the sights of heidelberg!
Start and end at the train station.
Walk upto the palace. Buy a ticket for the funicular going to the very top for €9 this also gets you into the palace courtyard.
Once you have explored the palace take the funicular to the top.
Walk back down to the city centre and through the old town. There are a few amazing churches you can go inside.
Cross the bridge and hike up to the ruin castle at the top of the hill.
There are some amazing views back of the town, bridge and Palace.
Make sure to stop at the old well (there is a button on the wall to turn the light on in the well).
There are towers at both ruins you can walk up.
Then make your way back down to the train station.
