Itinerary description
You think you are tough then try this hike.
Starting point is Broqta entrance.
Follow trail number 14 towards El iibiré.
After that easy part, continue towards trail number 10, you will pass by multiple water sources especially at this time (snow is melting - March 10th).
Once you reach the end of this trail, you should be next to Mar Geries church (an old abandoned church). At this part, the climb starts till you reach the Cross (30-45 min if you are climbing in a steady slow pace).
After reaching the Cross, take either the trail of Ornit el Mzaar or the old houses as both will let you reach Baydar el Chawk (Qamez entrance).
I used trail number 2 and at the intersection of trail 1-2-3, i used trail number 1 towards Broqta.
Once you finish this part, you will arrive on trail 15 leading towards the starting point.
I faced rocky, snowy and mud terrains making the hike more challenging, not to mention the thick foggy under 1000m of altitude.
Keep it clean and donate to preserve this amazing place.
