Itinerary description

A moderate to difficult circular walk on the Western slopes of Mt Wellington on a rarely used track. Therefore every now and again some bush bashing is required on the first half of the track. Devils Throne is a great place for lunch with magnificent views to Mountain River, Collins Bonnet and Cathedral Rock. Best to park in the big car park at Big Bend on Mt Wellington and walk down the road for a couple of hundred metres to the start of The Big Bend Track. The weather forecast must be checked before attempting this walk.
