Itinerary description
Note of warning before you start this hike, check the local high/low tide times as the beach section of the hike can only be done close to low tide.
We decided to do the hike in an anti clock wise direction so as to get a low tide on the return leg from Point Addis.
Start at the Bells beach car park down to the beach and follow for about 200 metres, then off to the right pick up the "Surf Coast Trail " and follow to the Jarosite track which will then bring you back onto the Surf Coast tack, you now head towards the Iron Bark Basin car park through light forest that abuts onto houses, just before the car park take the Nature trail loop to the Iron Bark track and onto Point Addis, just before Point Addis you will walk along the Koorie culture walk.
Follow the beach from Point Addis back to Bells beach, on the way you will walk along Addiscot beach which is an optional clothing beach, so expect some nudity on a fine day.
A diverse walk through typical coastal scrub, grass tree forest and light bush.
An enjoyable .easy to moderate walk
