Itinerary description
A stage between the villages of Adishi and Khalde, following the classic Mestia-Ushguli trekking trail. The trail follows the Adischala river valley to the foot of the spectacular Adishi glacier. Here you cross the river (on foot or on horseback) and start the ascent to the Chkhunderi Pass (2,600m) with very good views. Then it is a continuous descent to the small village of Khalde, where we spend the night before tackling the Lagen Pass the next day.
