Itinerary description
Day 3 of the TET PT journey was a real mix of emotions. The terrain shifted to a more enduro-style ride, which means it got tougher, especially if you’re on a bigger bike. You’ll definitely feel the effort as the tracks demand more skill and focus.
Since we rode in reverse order, we were amazed at how challenging some sections must be in the "right" direction. One downhill had deep ruts, big enough to fit the bike, and it seemed almost impossible to imagine climbing it in the standard direction. This part of the ride was full of steep uphills and downhills, making it exciting but also much more technical.
Unfortunately, due to a fall the day before, I had to call it quits and head home because of some injuries. It was a tough decision, but safety comes first.
From this point forward, be ready for even more enduro-style challenges. Riders on bigger bikes will likely struggle, so take your time and prepare for the effort ahead. This section of the TET is demanding but also rewarding for those who enjoy the thrill of a technical ride.
