Itinerary description
Third stage of the National Cycle Route 1, from Harlow to Ipswich via Colchester
Route 1 is a long distance cycle route (1,695 miles) connecting Dover and the Shetland Islands via the east coast of England and Scotland.
Most of this third stage is on road, just a few streches are trafic free, clearly not a route for mountain bikes.
As the trail passes through two major cities, Chelmsford and Colchester, it can be adapted to each one´s wishes or capabilities.
