From Hostel Bird I take bus 93, which leaves us in the Arashiyama neighborhood, next to the Togetsuko Bridge, called "bridge that crosses the moon". From here we start the tour, first we have a walk along the Togetsuko bridge, then we continue towards Tenryu-ji Temple, one of the most impressive temples of Arashiyama, with attractive gardens with walking paths.
If we leave at the top we will soon reach the bamboo forest of Arashiyama, where we can take a very pleasant walk but always full of people.
After this pleasant walk we will go to the temple Gio-ji Temple, passing by Jojakkoji Temple and Nison-in Temple. Gio-ji is nestled inside a forest and is known for its moss garden, dotted with tall maple trees the entrance is very beautiful.
From here walk to Saga-Toriimoto street, it is full of traditional houses and converted into shops at the end of the street is the Nenbutsu-ji temple.
I am already heading to the last temple today is Daikaku-ji, this is great with several stays to visit and a large lake, it is worth your visit, as it is a bit remote we find few people, the museum is worth it.
From here I go directly to take bus 93 to leave me again at the hotel.
