A very easy walk starting from just outside the O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat guest house. The walk involves a wooden boardwalk that winds through the rainforest for a short while before you reach 9 suspension bridges that are up to 16 metres above the rainforest floor. You can also climb the enclosed ladder up a fig tree to a deck 30 metres above the ground.
This is a fun little track to do before or after tackling one of the bigger walks in the Green Mountains section of Lamington National Park, with a connection track to the Border Track at the end to the Tree Top Walk (turn right onto the gravel track).
Early morning or late afternoon are the best time to do the track for seeing wildlife (birds and pademelons) and for great light for photos.
