A walk through the hills close Bologna. Starting in Piazza Maggiore the walk picks up the trail CAI 904 which we follow to Monte Paderno. From there we follow CAI 900 across to Forte Bandiera . From there the walk follows CAI 902 back down to Bologna.

At the end of the road past the church, go left through the gate.

Cross the road and walk through the cark park to Villa Ghigi Park

At San Michele Di Gaibola CAI 904 comes to an end and intersects with CAI 900. You can turn right just before the church for a circuit to the west of continue straight ahead as Im doing for a circuit to tbe east.
