San José del Pacífico is a small mountain village, located 140K away from Oaxaca, and it's 2.400m above the sea level.
In this track we started in our accommodation, Pensión Rubí, and turned right. In the first junction we came up on the right and continued until the first juction, that we took (directions to San Mateo). In next junction we took the left until we could go to the right. We continued until the end of the village (pic.1) and turned to the left, then left, then right, then right, right again and left-right. We continued and took the left and then right to the main square.
The way is very steep and unpaved.
