Nice route that we could call tourist, around the parks of Windsor Castle walking the so-called "Long Walk", a long straight with the castle in the background, a perfect place to run.

I leave from Datchet, following the road parallel to the river. At all times there are asphalt roads and sidewalks to be able to go safely. In this first section, until you get to Old Windsor there is traffic, but as I say, it's not a problem and you can run safely.

Once we leave the main street and go for a stroll in search of the first sections of land, the traffic is practically non-existent and you can see some typical English houses, as well as the typical pubs and taverns.

As we leave behind the entrance fence to the park it does not take long to start the climb up dirt track, through a spectacular forest where you can see squirrels, turkeys and deer. Really spectacular.

We finish climbing when we get to a statue from which you can see the entire "Long Way" presided over by the castle.

It starts to rain, but it does not matter, I am enjoying the route so much, that a few drops of water will not make me bitter in the afternoon, it also looks like a small passing cloud.

The name "Long Way" comes "to the hair", a rectilinear walk guarded by trees, where it is very easy to see deer in freedom crossing or comfortably lying on both sides.

In Windsor I rode around the castle and the Church of San Jorge to go down to the road that would take me from our to Datchet. From this road, where we again have paved lane to run safely, you can see the other side of the castle, and large wooded areas, with golf and soccer fields.

It really has been a real pleasure to make this improvised route.
