The route is very flat, slightly downriver.
Three distinct sections
The path along the railway line and by the Sempachersee. Some narrow places. Old asphalt and some gravel.
The walking paths around Sursee. Great fun but but they can be crowded.
The long section down the Suhre river. Nearly all perfectly packed gravel. In good condition even after a few days of rain.
I stopped in Oberentfelden as it looked like the gravel was finished for the day.
