The Department of Antioquia, in Colombia, has so much to offer beyond the capital, Medellín. Take Las Orquídeas Natural National Park for example, the hidden paradise of the Murrí Valley or the route that connects La Blanquita (Frontino) and El Sireno (Urrao). It is a mule crossing (part mare and part donkey) that crosses exotic landscapes among indigenous tribes. Beware, this trail is for expert adventurers only and one must be well-informed before heading into this area!
