| Horse route that links the Mediterranean with the Bay of Biscay
From the city of Valencia we went through the River Turia River Park to visit the entire Iberian System through the Sierras del Toro, Javalambre, Albarracín, Alto Tajo Natural Park, the Sierra del Solorio and Calatañazor juniper, River Natural Park Wolves and Sierra de la Demanda, continue through the Valley of the Bureba to cross the Obarenes and Montes de Oca Natural Park in Burgos and enter the Cantabrian Mountains through the Valderejo Natural Park, continue along the Alto de Zalama in the Montes de Ordunte crossing the Valleys of Carranza and Artzentales to take the Via Verde de Traslaviña in the Otañes Valley that took us to the beach of Dicido in the Cantabrian Sea next to the town of Mioño, Castro Urdiales neighborhood.
The dirt roads, forest tracks and trails are the dominant feature of this route.
Routes between 20 and 40 km per day to the air of the pass, staying overnight in rural lodgings and failing bivouacking.
Our purpose has been to explore a route that allows us to enjoy nature, gastronomy, cultural heritage and its people.
32 horse days of more than 8 hours each have been necessary to bring this adventure to an end.

Hola Vicente, la ruta y la experiencia son una pasada, es imposible referirse a una sola cosa especial pues a lo largo de las 32 jornadas hay naturaleza, historia y convivencia únicas; hubo jornadas más agotadoras que otras pues en principio todas no pueden tener la misma duración pero sobre todo el elemento diferencial es que fue una ruta en exploración por caminos y sendas sin tocar carreteras, esto hizo que en alguna jornada dedicaremos más de 3 horas a encontrar una vía de paso al haber sido eliminadas las sendas históricas por nuevos cultivos y cercados cinegéticos. Ahora esta disponible sin sorpresas para ser disfrutada por todos los aficionados y poco a poco vamos agregando más km con los Ramales que vamos explorando, el más reciente es el del Alto Tajo que añade 258 km a los 887 km de la ruta principal, puedes verla con detalle aquí en Wikiloc y si quieres ver los videos los estoy colgando ahora en Facebook en la página "De Norte a Sur por caminos de herradura".

Gracias trc1952, en la página del Facebook De Norte a Sur por caminos de herradura tienen un puñao de videos sobre cada una de las etapas de esta ruta, ademas en estos momentos estoy colgando los videos del último ramal que realizamos ampliando la ruta en 149 km desde Castrovido en Burgos hasta la Ciudad de Frías pasando por Cuzcurrita Del Río Tirón, y si necesitas información adicional que no aparece como alojamientos ya me dices.
