From the hostel in Roztoka we follow the green trail up to the asphalt road, where we turn left into the red trail to Morskie Oko. The red trail is very easy, it leads mainly on asphalt with a few shortcuts across the forest.

At the hostel at Morskie Oko we turn right into the yellow trail towards Szpiglasowa Przełęcz. The trail climbs up stone slabs, but it is not difficult.
From Szpiglasowa Przełęcz (beautiful panorama on two sides) we can go along the ridge to Szpiglasowy Szczyt. This part of the trail requires increased attention, it is not recommended for people with fear of heights. Also the beginning of the descent from the pass to the Five Ponds Valley (D5S) is difficult, it leads along slippery rock and is secured with chains.
At D5S, turn right into the blue trail and follow it to the hostel at D5S (easily and flat), and then follow it to Świstowa Czuba, from which there are beautiful views of the D5S and the Roztoka Valley.

It is only after Kępa that the descent to the Rybiego Potok Valley towards Morskie Oko sometimes is moderately demanding (high steps), but we also get to the beautiful panorama of Morskie Oko.

============================

From the shelter in Roztoka you follow the green trail up to the asphalt road, where you turn left into the red trail to Morskie Oko. The red trail is very easy, it leads mainly on asphalt with a few shortcuts across the forest.

At the shelter at Morskie Oko you turn right into the yellow trail towards Szpiglasowa Pass. The trail climbs up stone slabs, but it is not difficult.

From Szpiglasowa Pass (beautiful panorama on two sides) you can go along the ridge to Szpiglasowy summit. This part of the trail requires increased attention: it is not recommended for people with fear of heights. Also the beginning of the descent from the pass to Dolina Póch Stawów (D5S, Valley of Five Lakes) is difficult: it leads along slippery rocks and is secured with chains.

At D5S, turn right into blue trail and follow it to the shelter at D5S (easily and flat), and then follow the blue trail to Świstowa Czuba, from which there are beautiful views of the D5S and the Roztoka Valley.

It is only after a certain moment that the descent to Dolina Rybiego Potok - in the direction of Morskie Oko - is sometimes moderately demanding (high steps), but you also get a beautiful panorama of Morskie Oko.

In the season - except the early morning hours - this part of the trail is extremely crowded. The proposed trek can start in Palenica Białczańska, where buses from Zakopane take "Morskie Oko".
