We hiked this in March 2014 and it was a wonderful day. Nice views of valleys and rivers, and a good little climb up the hill. We started at Tan Hill because it was easier to drive to, and the pub was a great place to end. Our route took us to Keld via the Pennines, and then back up via the coast to coast trail. Coming up from Keld we were followed for some distance by a herd of sheep!

The main difficulty is staying on the trail :). Bring your GPS.
