Winton Wetlands Lunette Walk.

The lunette is an ancient and weathered curved sand dune that was formed at a time when the climate was much cooler and dryer. Similar dunes can be seen across the continent. This is the largest of three old weathered dunes that can be seen within the wetlands.

This trail begins at gate, (which can be entered via car if you wanted to). We chose to walk in, but as it was getting dark, we didn't make it all the way to the North tip of the Lunette. It was roughly another kilometre away so this walk should be in the vicinity of 8km return if you went all the way.
I re-visited the area the next day, and the tip is worth the walk.

Watch out for Roos if you're driving at dusk/night.
