Itinerary description
The University of Sussex shares borders with the South Downs National Park. The permissive footpaths will take you around the edge of the University and Stanmer Park. The majority of the walk is on the downs. Most of the paths are well surfaced, but some are steep and it can get quite muddy in places. The walk is best done at the weekend when the University is (relatively) quiet.
