near Ra’s, Muḩāfaz̧at Musandam (Oman)

Leave the Wadi Bih road from RAK and either park on the flat or take the small ramp up to the plateau for a better parking spot. A couple of buildings are visible, head towards these and pass the meteorological station, keeping the wadi on your right. A goat trail should be visible, follow this for a couple of hundred metres before leaving the trail and descending into the wadi. Now just follow the wadi up (generally easterly direction) up to a wall about 10m high with a pool (seasonal) at the base. Some minor scrambling involved in places but generally an easy walk with impressive scenery. Look out for the odd boulder with 'fossil' like inclusions and as always, stay out of the wadi if it looks like rain!

We have tried it today and it was a great hike! Views were spectacular and it was very rough and natural. Recommend it .. we had 6years old with us and it was a great adventure ...

Fairly easy path to follow and the entrance is easy to spot from the weather station. Most of the path was in the shade as the wadi is narrow and surrounded by mountains. Thanks for sharing merlin👍
