I always wanted to hike this area in autumn with all those colors that the trees offer. I could have finish it in much faster time but I was enjoying every moment and taking lot of pics. The first third is the hardest, going up the hill but the scenery is worth it. Once I arrived to the top I realized I left my sunglasses down the mountain on the rock when I was resting. So I stopped the trail recording and went back and forth 55 min to get them then resumed the hike. The LMT signs are everywhere and if you miss any, you will have another one 15 or 20 meters after. I passed by some apple plantation. At that point and if you want to do the loop and not continue towards Laklouk, you have to leave the LMT and take your left. Right after, you will start the descent and from time to time you will see some yellow paintings marking your trail. Overall it is a moderate hike, a bit hard for the beginners but believe me, it is one of my favorite tracks. Definitely to do in November if you want to enjoy the marvelous colors.
