near Doodletown (historical), New York (United States)
We stopped at our tepee that we keep adding to each week and then followed the blue trail up the mountain. It was a little much for our 3 yr old at some point but worth the view. We took a right at the T and filled the red trail over the mountain enjoying the view. I totally forgot to stop and see the mine, next time on that one. We then headed back down the mountain which eventually turned into a kind of road then looped back towards Doodle town. We went off path for a bit to switch back to the blue trail in the end. It was a great hike and next time we want to head out earlier so we can make more stops along the way.
