We leave the parking area and start climbing approximately 50 minutes along the paved road until we find the detour of the refuge on the Popradské Pleso lake at 1500 m. Here we make a small break and we continue our ascent by mountain path. The day is not good and it is scary that we will not be able to climb to the summit for the storm, despite we will try. The panels indicate Rysy 3:20. This first part of the road is quite good although we are still loud we will not leave it up.
1920 m. We find Lake Velke Zabie pleso. Here the landscape is already completely alpine and rocky, although it is a well marked and easy way to continue. The rain is starting, but we still prepare to face the part of the metal stairs and chains that will help us to save the rocky and difficult part just before reaching the refuge Chata pos Rysmi which is at 2250 m. From the refuge, we would only be able to get to the ring Sedlo Váha at 2339 m. and already flanking up to the peak at 2499.
When we are already in the chains, rain and squid begin and our guide makes us go back down in case an electric storm begins. It was a great disappointment that we could not climb even though the recommendation of the guide was not overlooked. We will have to repeat the exit.
Let's go down again until the first refuge where we can eat a hot soup and then we go down, visiting the symbolic Cemetery that is a tribute to many mountain climbers and rescuers who have lost their lives in mountains around the world. It is a cemetery that began in 1936 with the construction of the small chapel and where everyone can take the memory or plaque that he considers. In the cemetery the signal is lost and the track is no longer recorded, but the return to the beginning is done along the same path we did in the morning.

Buenas!!

No hace falta llevar cuerdas.
