Santander - Costa Quebrada - Liencres to Soto de la Marina

A fantastic hike along the Costa Quebrada near Santander in Cantabria, Spain. A 30 minute bus ride to/from Santander takes you to the coastal towns of Liencres and Soto de La Marina. The best views are near Liencres. The hike follows the coast on little paths except where landslides cause a few backtracks on bigger roads. There are little beaches along the way and other clear, sparkling pools of water for swimming. Bathing suits are optional on the secluded beaches.
