near Habernau, Upper Austria (Austria)
Truly enchanting walk starting from and ending at Habernau (ample parking). Apart from the first 500 metres and a few hundred metres midway, all of this walk takes place on dirt roads and forest trails. There are beautiful mountain and lake views to enjoy, as well as the general pre-alpine landscapes. The trail follows mountain streams for quite some distance, which offers nice views and makes good walking. The elevation gain during this walk is quite modest, so that the 16-17 kilometres make for a relatively pleasant walk, not more than moderately difficult at most (53p, 16,13km, 335m(+), 320m(-) & 5,0%/23%(+) according to IBP). A small distance along the lake is a wee bit cultivated, and attracts some tourism, but it is still very much worth it, as the lake views are amazing. I can strongly recommend this walk if you happen to be in the neighbourhood.
* = regular hike; ** = nice hike; *** = beautiful hike;

0-25 IBP = very easy hike; 26-50 IBP = easy hike;

>100 IBP = very difficult hike (all for someone in average/good shape)

Glad you enjoyed it, Mehdi... if ever I go to Iran, I will know whose trails to follow there. ;-)
I rate my hikes with one to five stars (this one had four stars), in case you should want to pick another one.
Regards,
Markus
