Prague (Czech, Praha) is a fusion of nature and architecture. It is the true image of a capital before the beginning of the industrial age. Groves and orchards descend to the banks of the river, where the horizon line is dotted with a myriad of towers and steeples. The historic center is enough concentrated to be explored on foot.

The course presented here aims to show you what to visit in Prague for a three-day stay.
1st day STARÉ MĚSTO (OLD CITY)
2nd day HRADČANY AND MALÁ STRANA (CASTELO AND CITY MINOR)
3rd day NOVÉ MĚSTO (NEW CITY)

1ST DAY
ANEŽSKY KLÁTER
The Convent of Santa Ines is the most venerable Gothic complex in the city, housed in a quiet enclosure of the Old Town. Escaped to demolition and now houses one of the most distinguished galleries in the country.
VLTAVA
The Vltava (in Czech: Vltava) is a river of the western part of the Czech Republic. It is born in the mountainous forests of Bohemia and is confluent of the River Elbe. It is the largest river in the country, covering a total of 435 km. Pass through the city of Prague.
ČECHŮV MOST
It is the shortest bridge of the main bridges that crosses the Vltava river in Prague.
UMĚLECKOPRŮMYSLOVÉ MUZEUM
the Museum of Decorative Arts of the Czech capital presents a wide collection of pieces of this passionate art. The museum is housed in a Neo-Renaissance palace built by Josef Schulz between 1897 and 1899. You can discover a number of adornments, allegories of arts and crafts, gold, embroidery, the press, glass and metal works ... in a nutshell, a number of pieces that invite you to discover the richness of artistic creation.
JOSEFOV
The district of Josefov is part of the Old Town of Prague and was the Jewish ghetto of the city.
This neighborhood is often represented by the flag of the Jews of Prague, a yellow Star of David on a red background.
The ghetto had great prosperity at the end of the 19th century. This coincided with the life of Mordecai Maisel, mayor of the Jewish quarter who became finance minister and who had made a great fortune. His generosity helped in the development of the neighborhood and is due to him the Synagogue Maisel that took his name. It was at this time that Rabbi Judah Loew ben Betzalel created the Golem myth.
In 1850, the Jewish quarter had its name changed to Josefov, in honor of Jose II, Holy Roman Emperor Germanic.
PALAC KINSKYCH
The Kinsky Palace is one of the historical buildings of Prague, located in the Old Town Square. It is an excellent example of rococo style, work of the great Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer.
KOSTEL PANNY MARIE PṘED TYNEM
Tyn gothic church. In spite of the difficulties to find its entrance, this church is one of the most outstanding monuments of the Old Town Square and throughout the historical district of Staré Město: surrounded by low houses, the church of black towers - one of the most important gothic buildings of Prague - deserves to be included in the list of places to be visited.
STAROMĚSTSKÉ NÁMĚSTÍ
Old Town Square, historical square on the Old Town square right in the center of Prague.
Located between Wenceslas Square and Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square is always crowded with tourists. It is extremely important for the Czechs as it is possible to find buildings in various architectural styles, such as the Gothic-style Týn Cathedral and the baroque St. Nicholas Church. Thus, the square has become an oasis for travelers from the narrow streets of Prague.
In addition to the churches, other great attractions of the square are the Astronomical Clock, called Orloj, the statue of Jan Hus and the Tower of the Old City, which allows a panoramic view of the whole square.
ORLOJ
The Orloj is a medieval astronomical clock. It is composed of three main components: the astronomical display, representing the position of the Sun and the Moon in the sky, besides showing several celestial details; the "Walk of the Apostles", a mechanical show represented at every hour exchange with the figures of the apostles and other sculptures with movement; and a calendar display with medallions representing the months (or zodiacs, as they appear in some texts).
KLEMENTINUM
The Clementinum (Klementinum in Czech) is a collection of historic buildings located in Prague. The complex houses the National Library and Technical University.
KARLŮV MOST
The Charles Bridge (in Czech Karlův most) is the oldest bridge in Prague, and crosses the Vltava River from the Old Town to the Lesser Town. It is the second oldest bridge in the Czech Republic. Its construction began in 1357 at the request of King Carlos IV, and was finalized at the beginning of century XV. Being the only way to cross the river, the Charles Bridge became the most important communication route between the Old Town, Prague Castle and the adjacent areas until 1841.
MUZEUM BEDŘICHA SMETANY (SMETANA MUSEUM)
Smetana Museum is housed in the neo-renaissance building of the old water reservoir of the Old Town, on the banks of the Vltava, near the Charles Bridge, on the corner with beautiful views of the river and Prague Castle. This exhibition, originally prepared, describes the life and work of Bedrich Smetana (1824-1884), one of the best Czech composers.
BETLÉMSKÁ KAPLE
The greatest wealth of Betlémská kaple (Chapel of Bethlehem) is in its history. It dates from 1391 and was the basis for Jan Hus, the Czech martyr who was burned for years after he criticized the Pope. After centuries of neglect, which left the church structure very precarious, it was rebuilt by Communists after World War II.
STAVOVSKÉ DIVADLO
The Prague State Theater is the theater located near the Ovocný TRH (Fruit Market). Important theater and operas premières such as Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart were performed in 1787.
PRAŠNÁ BRÁNA
The Powder Tower is a part of the interior of Prague Castle. It was one of the 13 defensive towers that were part of the walls that surrounded the old city in 1232, but it is the only one that is standing these days.
Through this gate were access to medieval Prague the trade routes from the Czech royal city of Kutná Hora, Eastern Bohemia, and those from Poland and the Baltic.
Already during the reign of Maria Theresa of Austria (century VIII), the Door or Tower of the Gunpowder happens to stop having defensive functions to become a warehouse of gunpowder - hence the present name.
OBECNÍ DŮM
The Municipal House of Prague is an auditorium and a civic landmark of reference in the city of Prague, being an important building for its architectural and political history.
