near Gorham, New Hampshire (United States)

Very nice hike. Trail starts with an official trail head (hiking sign and trail marker) near a gravel pit. It then goes up to a power line trail and onto snowmobile trails before it goes into a hiking trail. The hike up is nice, going through both hardwoods and pines. Once near the top, you see broadcast towers and you know you're near the Horton center complex. Take a left on the wooden walkway up to Chapel Rock, must see, then back down and strait to continue to the summit of Pine Mtn. The summit, itself, has no view - there is a foundation of an old fire tower, but continue to the ledges and you get a FANTASTIC view of the presidentials, Wildcast, Carters, etc.

Strongly recommend - especially in fall.
