Pine Island Conservation Area - Southern Section - Sams House Trails

This hike will take you along some roads/trails in the southern section of this vast conservation area. Many of the old trails are either not marked or marked with very old signs. The newer trails found down near the EELs main project - Sams House - are well blazed and were in great shape the day I hiked them. I entered the area from the main parking area off Pine Island Road, but if you just want to venture around the Sams House trails you can enter down off North Tropical Trail.
