Penang National Park (Taman Negara Pulau Pinang) has a few nice trails to explore.

This one was indicated to take 2h but it took our group just over 1h. We are all young & fit but we were not "running" either.

The beach is nice & well worth going to. There is a turtle sanctuary there as well so you might see a few baby turtles & a couple of bigger ones too.

The hike in the jungle is very humid, do take water with you & some snacks. A swim suit is also most welcome as you'll be super sweaty when arriving on Pantai Kerachut.

Although better with hiking/trailing shoes, this can be done with basic running shoes... or even flip-flops (even though not recommended).
