| Demanding route to reach the Maglic, 2,386m, the highest peak in Bosnia.
We did a circular route in which the first part climbed through grassy terrain without difficulty but in constant climb. After overcoming 1km we began to climb quite steep piers, in which we had to climb using our hands and the different cables that are on the route. This section was very demanding, since there were cables that were broken and it made it difficult for us to climb and have security in every step we took.
Everything and that we could do it, with a dog included, we recommend bringing specific material to advance with greater security.
At the top, we descended on the other side until we reached the fabulous views of Trnovacko Jezero, a heart-shaped alpine lake. From here the descent is more pronounced but without any difficulty, following a path that zigzags until it reaches the foot of the lake and the picnic area that is enabled.
Once we rest, we continue advancing through a descending section until we reach the height of Lake Suva, at which point we begin to climb until we reach the starting point.
We do not recommend the route for people who are not used to the mountains or are afraid of exposed sections.
