The Kruja visit would be perfect if you include Kruja mountain, a part from museums and castle. Near of the top is a Bektashi (Muslim religious sect) temple and fantastic views towards Kruja, the cost and the mountains of Qafshtama National Park.
From the Skenderbeg statue go uphill and keep left at the junction toward "Rruga e Malit" road. Pass the police post and after few hundred meters you will see a footpath going up to the mountain. This is a broad trail with stones used from peregrines which takes you up to Kruja mountain.
