Today’s outing to Diamond Hill brings with it different feelings. On the one hand, the weather. Minutes to spend in Ireland in the rain or in a windy state are enough. There is no way to find out when we get to the bottom, whether or not we will get wet.

On the other hand, the mountain is located in Connemara National Park and in this case is a hill that is osurourised. Moreover, the path is prepared for easier mountain turns and they also have routes arranged according to the length.

There are two things that are true: One, when the mountains attract you when viewed from the front, the temptation is too great not to try. Two, that the 'landscape' displayed above is exceptional, seeing a beautiful part of Ireland. Of course, the elegant slopes of Kylemore Abbey will take center stage.

Once downhill, it is a luxury to have tables, a children's playground and a Tea Room at the 'Visitor Center'.

In our case, today was the second attempt in 2014 and beyond. During this time we couldn't do it because it was raining.
